Time to get my Old School Geek on.
Before there was RPG’s, computer gaming, and the Internet, there were comic books. Please join me in welcoming the creator of Marvel Comics, Stan The Man Lee. I can remember going to Comic Con’s in the early 80′s hoping to get his signature on some of collections. So, all of you former and current collectors bring your comics and stand in line.
And as always please remember to donate blood.
Well folks I promised an update as to what we are doing this year.
This year we are going game vs. game. There will be several games listed and a place to write in your game if it is not listed(please write legibly). If you will be voting for WoW you will still have to choose (H)orde or (A)lliance. Vote for as many games as you play. The write in portion will help update the listed games for next years blood drive. Please show up for the Post MMOrtem panel on Monday.

For the Star Wars fans among us Ray Park will joining us again this year. And for all of would be pirates and swashbucklers I would recommend seeing Crossed Swords, they do put on a good show. I am still waiting and hoping that Cruxshadows willshow up this year.
And a reminder Everyone that is able to please donate Blood. Every unit of Blood can save up to 3 lives.
At last years blood drive, Dragon Con beat the other conventions with over 2100 units of blood donated. We beat PAX, Gen Con, et al. The Horde eeked out a narrow victory over the Alliance in the Horde vs. Alliance competition.
I think we can do better this year. I encourage everyone that can donate to donate at Dragon Con this year. Every unit of blood donated has the ability to save up to 3 lives and you get a nice T-shirt and a ribbon for your badge.
This year we will not be doing a Horde vs. Alliance blood drive. I was told by a lot of people that did not Play WoW (imagine that). So this year I will doing something a little different.

That’s right Ensign Harry Kim aka Garrett Wang will be a guest at Dragon Con. He is also pulling double duty as Director Trek Trac. This aught to liven the party at 10 Forward up a little.
