14 more days! Is everyone ready?
I think villains deserve equal press time, don’t you? So last week, Bumble gave you the good guys, this week you get the bad. I deviated from the comic book scene a bit though, there are just some costumes that need to be seen.

So this time we actually remembered to publish the Snarkcast

Grim and Krystalle discuss the schedule of events on the DC*MMO track for this year and give some exclusive information about the track that won’t appear in the program guide or pocket schedule. If you want the real inside scoop on what we’ll be up to this year, we’ve got the podcast for you. (or you can wait until con and read about it in the Daily Dragon…)

If you’re in the mood to hang out with the DC*MMO gang, we’ll be at the Vortex Bar and Grill in Little Five Points on Saturday, August 14 at “around noon-ish”.  This isn’t remotely close to any kind of “official thing”.  Just a bunch of us hanging out and shooting the bull.

I’ve recently heard much talk of Superheroes attached to DragonCon conversation. I suppose it’s a topic that’s always a brain fizzle away with many Dcon-goers, but between chatting about costumes and City of Heroes talk, it just seems to be more popular in conversation of late. So, in keeping with the times, let’s have more Hero pics!

City of Heroes

This picture was created by Douglas Shuler, an artist for Magic: The Gathering. It’s an image he made from his City of Heroes Supergroup. Quite impressive.

Nicely done.

This is just awesome.

And this must be what Alfred sees on The Bat’s bad nights.

If you enjoyed this, check out the whole series…

We’ve got some very special surprises in store for you guys this year. I would STRONGLY recommend checking the Daily Dragon… Daily. As a special treat for those of you who come to this site early and often, I’ll give you one for free.

Our “Morning Coffee and Snarkcast” on Saturday morning will feature an interview with Jeff “Vork” Lewis.

I’ll give you some hints for some of our other surprises, but you’ll need to check the Daily Dragon to find out for sure.

Hint #1: ROFLMAO
Hint #2: He lost more than his heart in that cantina, and likes to show up at one of our panels unannounced.

More to come… =)

In April, City of Heroes crossed 6 years of allowing people to play comic book superheroes in all their colorful glory.  Skilled machinimist Samuraiko put together is retrospective to commemorate the occasion and skip down memory lane through all the game has put out in that time…  Enjoy!

Well, it looks like we’ve got competition in the department of meatspace entertainments.

Probably the biggest news in the MMO world today is the release of Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty. Published by Blizzard, Starcraft was first released in 1998 after a major overhauling due to a poor showing at E3 in 1996. Blizzard made the right move, as Starcraft has sold over 11 million copies from 1998 till 2009. Now enter Startcraft II, the long awaited sequel. It again will follow the story of Terran (outcast human) Jim Raynor on his quest to survive Zergs, Protoss, and well, other Terran. If you don’t want to go the storyline route you can play any of the three races to try and dominate the galaxy. And now, for your viewing pleasure, Starcraft II: Wings of LIberty.
